I was thrilled to be asked by Alicia and Johnny to be their Rockingham castle wedding videographer.
A venue steeped in history, this 900-year-old former Royal hunting lodge is a fine location situated in the beautiful rolling Northamptonshire countryside. Being able to have their wedding film shot at Rockingham castle was the perfect way for Alicia and John to immortalise their special day. Providing them with a beautiful keepsake.
We had a glorious day for it and the festivities began at Alicia's house where the wedding party got ready. Many of the wedding guests had come from around the world to see Alicia and Johnny get married.
The wedding ceremony was held in the great hall with its wood-panelled walls and beamed ceilings. Suits of armour kept watch over proceedings. As a Rockingham castle wedding videographer, I like to try to be invisible so that I can capture the natural reactions of people as the day unfolds.
Following the beautiful ceremony, the reception took place at Rockingham castle's Walker house with its grand central staircase which is believed to be the original Tudor staircase for the main house. As the day turned to night a band struck up in the cellar and the party continued with dancing and concluded with sparklers.
