Laura and Simon were getting married at the Woodlands at Hothorpe and I was very pleased when they asked me to cover their wedding. This is a beautiful venue set amongst a heavenly background of nature. Wedding videography at the Woodlands at Hothorpe is always a pleasure especially when the sun is shining as it was on their day.
Both the bride and groom got ready at the venue and Simon had a special guest with him ‘Ted’ Simons pet border terrier. The wedding ceremony took place in the enchanting woodland surrounded by trees, guests, and the sounds of nature.
As a Woodlands at Hothorpe wedding videographer, my aim is to blend into the background, go unnoticed and film the day as it unfolds.
The chilled-out vibe of the day continued later, the reception was held in one of the main rooms and an acoustic guitarist played Oasis songs during the drinks. As day turned to night a band started playing and people were dancing, laughing and generally having fun. later on, groups sat around the campfire chatting and toasting marshmallows. It really was a perfect ending to what was a beautiful relaxed wedding day.
